Elementary Glow Run & Dance Party
Falmouth VIPS hosted a GLOW RUN & DANCE PARTY for all students in grades K-4. This weeknight event replaces the elementary track meet formerly held on a weekend. We’d like to thank the Food Trucks who provided lots of great food and beverage options: Beyond the Grind, Tori-n-Mum Creations, Doggz & Hoggz, the Filling Station. Thanks to DJ Tundra for providing great music and to all the volunteers and sponsors who make it happen.
Our generous community sponsors made sure participants received plenty of glow items and a keepsake race medal. Fun for the whole family!
The online registration is now closed, but it’s NOT TOO LATE to participate! Show up with your runner(s) a few minutes early and we’ll get them checked in!

This is an outdoor event, so please dress for the weather!
All Runners should meet at the Commodores Field behind the Rec Center. Please arrive early to check in and get your runner to the start line.
Race schedule:
Kindergarten: 5:00 – 5:30 p.m.
1st Grade: 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
2nd Grade: 6:00 – 6:20 p.m.
3rd Grade: 6:20- 6:40 p.m.
4th Grade: 6:40-7:00 p.m.
The Rec Center will be open all evening, so families can go inside to warm up between races, use the restrooms, and enjoy dinner indoors.
Our Food Truck vendors will have plenty of great menu items to keep you warm: Beyond the Grind (hot coffee, hot chocolate, tea, desserts), Tori-n-Mum Creations, Doggz and Hoggz, and The Filling Station. Purchases may be made with cash or credit cards.
Parking: In addition to parking at the Rec Center, overflow parking will be available at the Veteran’s Center (300 Dillingham) and at Advanced Dental Care (303 Dillingham; avoid tenant parking). Please use caution when walking to the field from these locations as it will be dark.
A photographer will be on hand to capture the races (a link will be provided to view photos following the event). Enjoy music from TJ Tundra and the playground under the lights. We’ll have special guests in inflatable costumes to greet students and families.
